There’s no way you can listen to this story and not feel inspired. Please take the time out of your day to see why I am incredibly lucky to have such an amazing, hardworking, and ambitious father. He gave me one of the greatest gifts and that’s my passion for writing. He epitomizes the idea that it doesn’t matter where you come from in life. As long as you never give up, the world is your oyster!
Here’s a little nugget for all my fellow writers out there. I one thousand percent agree! If you’re not willing to bear your soul, then put down the pencil. The best stories resonate with you because of the vulnerability and truth conveyed by the author. Writing is one of the most difficult things to do, but once you share your story it’s the most freeing and gratifying thing I’ve ever experienced. So my hat goes off to all the writers brave enough to expose themselves and bear their souls. Thank you for inspiring and motivating me to grow as a writer.
I wish more people took this philosophy to heart. I have always believed that my personality and heart are far more beautiful and precious than any of my physical features.
